A high-protein, better-for-you take on a classic. These bars layer a chewy base, soft peanut butter nougat and crunchy peanuts under a dark chocolate shell, all boosted with Vitable Plant Protein for that satisfying hit.

Ingredients
Base

2/3 cup almond flour

4 Medjool dates, pitted

2 tbsp Vitable Plant Protein

2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
Nougat layer

1/3 cup smooth peanut butter, warm

3 tbsp Vitable Plant Protein

1 tbsp maple syrup
Topping
-
2 tbsp crushed peanuts
-
1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
-
1 tsp coconut oil
Directions
Blend base ingredients until sticky and press into a small lined loaf tin.
Mix nougat layer until smooth and spread over base. Sprinkle with peanuts and press gently.
Chill 1-2 hours until firm, slice into 6 bars.
Melt chocolate with coconut oil, pour over bars, and set in the fridge for a few minutes until the chocolate is set.
Recipe Note
Store in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to 1 week.
